MARGARITA, MARC & OUSMAN

We are driven by passion for what we do and the commitment to have a positive impact on our environment through our intention for change and dedication.

We love the earth. And we love to educate about it and explain to anyone who will listen how we pay tribute to it. We want to raise awareness about the vital importance of organic and regenerative agriculture in the food system.

Margarita studied tourism and then jewelry, and later met Marc, who passed on her love for the land. They have lived together in Empordà since 2011, and in 2015 they decided to create this family and professional project that is growing with their children, Ot and Simó.

In 2022, Ousman, born in Gambia, joins the family with his energy and desire to do things well.

From a young age, Marc realized that his life project had to be to cultivate the land. He informed himself, he researched, he tried… Until in 2008 he settled in Empordà and began to work in the agricultural sector professionally. After several experiences in agriculture, he finally founded Horta de Tramuntana in 2015, thanks to the invaluable help and encouragement of Margarita and a little cosmic alignment.
